Whatever we're on.

No idea what we're on at this point, but today we start the next phase of the dieting - phase 1 of South Beach. We did decide to do this impulsively, we're both filled with regret, but we're sticking to our guns on this one as it may be the only way we start seeing that dreaded number fall.

GO US!

Now I will finish my can of green beans, affectionately known as "lunch".

Week 7 - DairyAir

Is it week 7? I haven't been as faithful about posting. But I did remember to weigh myself this morning, so I'll go ahead and post.

Except that I can't remember my starting weight. Hee hee... I weighed 159 this morning. I really wanted brownies last night, but didn't make any. Go me. Allergies are improved so I'm not sucking on ice cream bars all day, which should help. I'm wrapping up the house prep today, maybe tomorrow, and then I'm going to start running on the elliptical again every morning.

I have a meal plan for the week, but it is upstairs and I am not. But I do have a healthy plan that (hopefully) will help me make some progress this week.

Week 6 - Bacon

Up 1.2 from last week. Basically, I have accomplished nothing in these six weeks.

So, so frustrating.

It's supposed to be 100 degrees tomorrow. Exercise seems unlikely for the next few days.

I suppose that people get gym memberships for the yucky seasons here, but I can't afford that, so I'm just left with sitting around, trying to not be too hot. Ugh.

Week 5 - Bacon

I don't have a lot of time or much interesting to say. This week was a lot like last week. I am, however, down a pound from last week. I was hoping to be down more, but I'll take the pound.

Still need to lose another 10 or so in the next 6 weeks. Ugh. I'm going to have to cut some of my fruits and grains out and find a way to exercise more (too hot! IT'S TOO HOT TO EXERCISE!!!) to drop that extra weight. Ugh.

This week, I'll likely continue to eat foods from my freezer each night after work. That's just how I roll these days. I got some sugar snap peas at Whole Foods the other day, so that's a good snack, and I also bought some summer squash to sauté at some point this week. I'm also trying to drink lots of water to stay hydrated in the heat.

Baby steps...
